of Rare Books 
 
    The core of Department of Rare Books of Jerusalem Russian Library is books and magazines from the collection made by a renowned collector, publisher, and bibliophile Yakov Tverskoy. Among them there are reprints of Russian Judaica rarities, bibliographical publications, very rare collections of verses; almanacs of the beginning of this century; Russian-Jewish periodicals - Voskhod ("The Sunrise") and Rassvet ("The Dawn") magazines; books in history, linguistics, etc.
 Department of Rare Books was opened in 1995, in the building of Immigrants Communities' House (Jerusalem Municipality Department of Absorption) and is headed by Dr. Leonid Yuniverg, the founder of Jerusalem Bibliophiles Club.
