Archive of
Russian Jewry was originated by "Bridges of Culture" Association
(headed by Michael Grinberg and Gregory
Kazovsky) and works in collaboration with Jerusalem
Municipality and Zionist Forum Library.
The Archive numbers about 200,000 stock units - mostly personal funds of
such figures of Jewish culture as Ya.Maze, N.Oislender, E.Fininberg, M.Khashchevatsky,
Kh.Dobrushin.
Of special interest there are materials on the
history of Jewish theaters in the USSR in the early '20s, and documents
about the activities of Jewish political parties and public organizations.
