Boris Karavanov gallery

Boris Karavanov was born in 1950 near Minsk, USSR. Graduated as an artist and architect from Minsk Academy of Fine Arts. Studied painting in the Workshop of Prof. Baranovsky. Taught architecture and drawing at Minsk Academy of Fine Arts and painting in the Minsk Art College. Immigrated to Israel in 1994. Member of Artists' Association in the Republic of Belarus (1994). Member of Painters and Sculptors Association in Israel (1998).

Boris Karavanov:
"Neither genre, nor plot is of any special importance. One can paint a perfect still life with apples and an appalling nude. For me the most significant question in art is, "How?"
